dr. carina saikaley

Dr. Carina Saikaley was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario. After obtaining her Bachelor of Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa, she moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida to earn her Doctor of Optometry at Nova Southeastern University. She graduated in 2020 on the Dean’s Honour List, and was also awarded membership into two academic honour societies, Beta Sigma Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi, during her studies.

Throughout her clinical rotations, Dr. Saikaley developed extensive experience in speciality contact lenses, pediatric eye care, and myopia treatment through orthokeratology. Her past experience also includes training at surgical center in Boca Raton that specializes in ocular disease management and pre- & post- operative care for several ophthalmic surgeries.

When she’s not in the clinic, Dr. Saikaley enjoys travelling, exploring new foods, and spending time with her family. She is excited to further advance the profession and provide the utmost quality of care to her patients.
