Dr. rosanna rivard

Dr. Rivard graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2008 receiving Doctor of Optometry and Honours Science degrees. Dr. Rivard was recognized on the Dean’s Honors List each year of her university career.

Through her Optometry program, Dr. Rivard was able to gain experience in clinics specializing in contact lenses, pediatrics, low vision, ocular health, and binocular vision. She completed a clinical rotation in Louisville, Kentucky at a clinic specializing in laser vision correction, cataract surgery, and the management of glaucoma, retinal and corneal disease. She also completed a clinical rotation at Barrhaven Optometric Centre, gaining valuable primary care experience.

Dr. Rivard grew up in Greely, Ontario and is happy to be back in the Ottawa area after being away at school. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, reading, and visiting with friends and family. She looks forward to raising her family in the Ottawa area.
