Barrhaven Optometric Centre was established by Dr. Gordon Young in 1979 as the premier eye care clinic in Barrhaven.  Over the years, our clinic has grown with our community and we are proud to have 13 Doctors of Optometry available to serve our patients.

Co-owners Drs. Scott McIntosh, Lora Lee Hardy, and Trevor Graham are proud of their community and their role in it.  Our clinic's emphasis is to continually evolve and elevate services and products, providing for its patients as per our mission statement:  "To protect & enhance our community's most precious sense:  its vision".

Our support for south Ottawa goes beyond sight, service, and style. We’re proud to participate in and support a variety of charity initiatives and local events, including Optometry Giving Sight, the annual Barrhaven Canada Day celebrations, and the Barrhaven Santa Claus Parade.
