Dr. Yvonne Mak

Dr. Yvonne Mak was born and raised in Toronto. She received both her Honours Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry on the Dean’s Honours List from the University of Waterloo in 2019.
Dr. Mak trained under cataract and retinal ophthalmologists at the Eye Centers of South Florida in North Miami Beach. She also completed in an internship in Victoria, British Columbia where she managed patients with a variety of ocular diseases including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration.
Dr. Mak is a member of the Canadian Association of Optometrists (CAO), the Ontario Association of Optometrists (OAO), and the Ottawa Society of Optometrists (OSO).
In her spare time, Dr. Mak enjoys exploring the city she is now proud to call home with her friends and family.
